Wicklow Re-Visit.

A series of events repeated itself in Wicklow again...
~ another crazy, adrenalin-fueled paintball shootout!

It was an event under the banner of the Penang Medical School, so many thanks to the, for the last minute extra space for me and Yisha.

51 people all together, so thats 25 on 26.

I was a 'turncoat' apparently (according to some ppl) suppose to be in the 'blue team' but swapped with someone to be with the Reds since Yisha's there as well. Turned out, jumping teams was a good idea as we won in the end~ same team with Jay = 1st and 2nd in laserquest the last time we went. So we had the best rep. from QUB konon..hehe.
No offense to the blues, but at a few stages of the game it was like a turkey shoot!
~After action report~
1st game/arena , 2nd match - both teams were suppose to assault a walled position and try and capture it and raise plus defend the flag on the position.
Them Blue-ys got there first and were trying to utilise the cover of the wall against our meagre cover of scantily scattered trees. We charged them even when they had cover. Reached the front part of the wall and a few of us hid behind the barrels. I think they were confused and busy raising the flag as we popped out and just 'sprayed' them...
I personally remember greasing 3 of them clustered together-close range up the middle at the 'gate' and shot a fella with green shiny shoes later behind some tayars who confused my shoutings of '...you're SHOT!,..GO!, GO! ..GO!!..(you're suppose to respawn at the dead zone once shot) he thought it was his team-mates saying go forward.. poor sucker. I had to shoot him a few more times to pass the message. Mind you, we were quite near to each other so it hurts! ~on his part..
The initial follow-up wave flatters but regrouped and took the wall after the few stubborn 'first-wavers' cleared some of the Blues out. What follows was insane..
We climbed on to the wall and reversed the Blues , they had no cover AT ALL save some bushes futher down. Everyone just joined us and started shooting at them, without cover out in the open at the wrong side of that wooden wall as I raised the RED FLAG.....memorable.
